العالم هي قناة تلفزيونية إخبارية شيعية تبث باللغة العربية مقرها العاصمة الإيرانية طهران. رفعت قناة العالم منذ انطلاقتها في شباط/ فبراير عام 2003 شعار "الرأي للمشاهد، ثم في 2009 الحقيقة كما تراها!.
اكتسبت قناة العالم اهتماما عربياً وعالمياً في أعقاب الغزو الاميركي للعراق عندما تميزت بتغطيتها للأحداث هناك في ظل انتشار واسع لمراسليها في مختلف المناطق العراقية، وحصدت القناة متابعة واسعة من الشعوب العربية أثناء تغطيتها المتميزة للحرب الإسرائيلية على لبنان في تموز/ يوليو 2006، والحرب على غزة ثم بعدها تغطيتها للثورات العربية في تونس ومصر وليبيا. كما أنفردت قناة العالم بتقديم تقارير ميدانية من قلب الحدث من خلال تغطيتها المباشرة للحرب على سوريا.
